Did you know that you can actually make money doing blogging? It is quite interesting and involves a legal contract. It pays by the blog and you must post a minimum number of blogs per week I think. You could potentially make $300 a week or maybe more depending on the topic. There was one on adoption that I was considering but didn't think I could be creative on the spot to meet the minimum number of blogs. Had no idea that this blog world was even out there as a second source of income.
I did find out that when the CCAA reports that Dossiers are in the "review" room that means simply that - the dossiers are being reviewed for errors or inconsistencies. if they "pass" this test, those dossiers are then sent to the "matching" room - have no idea of the average time they are stuck in this step but that is where the actual babies are chosen for the parents on each dossier - what a cool job that would be! I was told a number of years ago that employees look at pictures of each of the babies that are ready for adoption and then also look at pictures of the parents - they try to match up looks if they can, for example if the parents have round faces, they will try to choose a baby with a round face. I have no idea how true that actually is and to me it doesn't really matter one way or the other. It is kind of odd to think that someone is (has or will be) looking at my dossier and flipping through pics of multiple little ones to find one that is "just right" for me? Is that even possible? Or do they just eeny, meeny, miney moe it? Oh to be a fly on the wall in the Matching room!
Bella-Bella-Chloe-Dancerealla. Nana's Xmas gift to Chloe. Note we can't get the "skirt" to stay down and low and behold it is because it is too small for Chloe (nothing has ever been too small for Chloe so I was pretty excited about that). But she loves it anyway. "Mom, I want to do bella dancerella every day, forever, for the rest of my life!" or "The magical ballerina says I have to practice every day and eat my fruits and vegetables". You GO GIRL BELLA what's her name!!
Chloe did not look this happy when she found out that Boston had totally chewed up her other ballet skirt as well as her Teddy bear ice pack. This Jones used to be a dog person, I don't know what happened but I am no longer a dog person. Maybe it happened when I looked out in my war zone of a back yard where I can see 8 feet plus of roots spreading out in gaping holes from my 50 foot Maple and 50 foot Pin Oak. Or maybe it is two hunks of roots I found laying by the back garden that were originally my $20 rose bush and $10 carpet roses that I had just started last year. Or maybe it is the insulation spread around in quarter size pieces after it was ceremoniously ripped off of the pipes leading from the ground to my air conditioner (not sure what they do but they are no longer insulated). Or the 2" square hole on the top pillow of my just one-year-old leather couch? Do ya think????
Chloe - conversational Tidbits (kids say the darndest things) - January 2005 - the best conversations are those that take place in the car.........
Chloe: Mommy, when I was little I wipe my burgers on the window because I not know what to do....when I was little Mommy.
Me: You wiped your burgers on the window???? That’s disgusting!
Chloe: Yep, I not have a Kleenex
Me: Why didn’t you just ask for a Kleenex????
Chloe: I not know how to talk at one year old MOMMY!!
