blues clues

No matter how hard I try to debate it, I simply can't convince my daughter that the current Blues Clues guy is not Steve but Steve's brother (can't remember his name). She will have none of it and keeps saying "UH-HUH Mommy, that's Steve!".

I believe that Chlo has finally decided on a sport and (drum roll please) - it's basketball. She has not shown any interest in anything particular until last weekend:
K - Ok, Chlo you need to decide on a sport.
C - Whats a sport?
K - Well you need to decide what kind of sport you want to play. You can play Soccer or Baseball, or Basketball......
C - OOOOKAAAAAY! I'll play Basketball!
K - Yeah! really?
C - Yes, but I'll play it until I get really good and then I'll stop.
K - You're going to play it until you get really good and then not play anymore?
C - Yep
K - But if you play and play and get really good, you will want to keep on playing
C - Nope

Hmmm, don't know the logic so I guess I can't argue. Besides, I really don't care either way if she is in sports, I just want her to do something that will prompt her to be more social. Some sort of comradarie is good for everyone I think.

Adoption Update - looks like all Dossiers that were logged in through the end of August 2005 have been reviewed. Referrals have been sent for Dossiers through end of June I think. Since my dossier log in date was November 30th, we have a ways to go. It is looking like China travel towards the end of this year or first part of next year - may very well be January in China again which stinks as far as luggage is concerned as you are dressing for two seasons - winter (bitter cold, I might add) in the North and 70s in the south where you always end up for about 5 days before your final jaunt home since the Government offices (where the child visa and final adoption paperwork is completed) is in Guangzhou (Gwong-JO) which is way south (3.5+ hours north of Hong Kong (by bus - which we know from experience unfortunately).

My sisters have not yet decided who is going with if any of them. Mom is actually to the point where she is "thinking" about it which is way cool!
