Freshly Blooming jasmine (now deceased) has the most intoxicating aroma!
Well, this is my first blog so bear with me as I will be doing some flashbacks to catch myself up while using this as a journal for baby #2 (hence the need for the history prior to this posting). This post is just a test to see if I've set this darn thing up correctly and then we will go from there. The ride has just begun:-)

So happy for you that you are going to give another beautiful little girl a loving home.
I know how much you miss your dad. He was a very special person to all of us. He and I had said we were going to get together for our 70th Birthday. His birthday is the day before mine. We graduated together at Benton. I will certainly miss him not having a birthday with me this year.
There is going to be many difficult times when you are going to miss him so much. Just remember how much he loved all of you girls. He remarked on our Benton site many times about his beautiful girls.
I have read your blog and will certainly be keeping in touch with you through it and will enjoy your trip to China with you. I do hope and pray that at least one of your sisters can go with you.
