still waiting

Well, I'm still here unfortunately. The last batch of referrals contained only 2 days wor th through 10/26/07. This was quite a hit to all those waiting - especially those with 10/31 - 11/4 lIDs that were completely expecting their referrals this month. No one seems to know what's going on - there are a lot of assumptions - not enough babies to refer, CCAA staff has been out sick, some mix up with the initial log ins of Oct/Nov dossiers back in 2005, etc. Nothing concrete. So....we wait....yet again until the next round comes up sometime in May. It is looking more and more like the "summer" travel I had expected is out the window at this point but I will know more when the next batch comes in (to see how many days they include in that one).

It is so disappointing - I am currently at a 17 month wait - now 4 months longer than I waited for Chloe. Frustrating to say the least.
